When Kings Road Estates was approved by the City of Nampa in 1994, it was the largest subdivision as of that date to be approved.

A large portion of the project was located in the Indian Creek flood plain which required a unique set of engineering solutions. Leavitt Engineering designed a dike along Indian Creek and a new large diameter pipe at the Kings Road crossing to eliminate flood plain problems. We also prepared the hydraulic analysis, completed required  flood plain studies, and submitted the FEMA application to remove the project from the flood plain.
